Former Penn State quarterback Trace McSorley is returning to Happy Valley as assistant quarterbacks coach for the 2025 season.Penn State spread the word on social media on Tuesday.McSorley started 40 games for the Nittany Lions in the 2016-18 seasons. He played 47 total games for the Nittany Lions, throwing for 9,899 yards with 77 touchdowns — both school records at the time — and 25 interceptions.McSorley, now 29, was 31-9 as a Penn State starter.
