Nate Bittle goes for 36 as Oregon beats Washington in OT

Oregon 7-footer Nate Bittle dropped a career-high 36 points and added a game-high 12 rebounds as the Ducks outlasted Washington 80-73 in overtime Sunday in Big Ten play at Seattle.Bittle made a go-ahead jumper with 1:04 left in regulation for a 68-67 Oregon lead. Washington’s Great Osobor missed one free throw but made the second to tie the game with 48 seconds left, and the regular-season finale for both teams wound up in overtime.There, Oregon (23-8, 12-8 Big Ten) dominated, with six different players scoring for a 12-5 advantage over their rivals.Oregon outshot Washington 49.1 percent to 41 percent and outrebounded the Huskies 43-28 thanks to Bittle, who went 13-for-20 overall and 3-for-4 on 3-pointers.Keeshawn Barthelemy added 14 points, Kwame Evans Jr. paired 11 points with 11 rebounds and TJ Bamba had 10 points for the Ducks, who will be the No. 8 seed in the Big Ten tournament and open against No. 9 Indiana.
